Place of Birth. Education. Born in Kyiv. Graduated from the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine.

General Information. Physical data: Height - 1 m 74 cm, Weight - 78 kg.

Coach: Valentin Papirovyy.

Represented by the sports club 'Kolos'.

In adulthood, she debuted in 1990 and won a bronze medal at the World Championships in team competition as part of the USSR team. During her career, Natalia Yakushenko was a multiple medalist in World Cup events but failed to win medals at the major tournaments - World Championships and four Olympic Games.

In February 2009, Natalia Yakushenko won a bronze medal at the World Championships in Lake Placid (USA), bringing the Ukrainian team its first medal in the history of the World Championships.

Awards and Achievements. Honored Master of Sports, member of the Ukrainian National Team.

World Championship 1990 (Calgary) - Bronze medal in team competition.

World Championship 2009 (Lake Placid) - Bronze medal in individual competition.

Winner of the overall classification of the 'Challenge Cup' 2004/2005.

Second place in the overall classification of the 'Challenge Cup' 2006/2007.

Participation in the Olympic Games 1992, 1994, 1998 (best result - 9th place), 2002 (best result - 5th place) and 2006 (best result - 13th place).

In her last games in Vancouver 2010, Natalia Yakushenko finished 11th in the individual competition.

Marital Status. Single, raising a son.
