Olympic Games 2004 in Athens - 5th place.
World Championships 2007 - 8th place.
Bronze medalist at the XXIX Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. Elena Antonova threw the discus 62.59 m (best seasonal performance). Gold was won by American Stephanie Brown with 64.74 m, silver went to Cuban Yarelys Barrios - 63.64 m. However, due to the disqualification of the Cuban Yarelys Barrios, who finished second, the award for the Ukrainian was upgraded to silver. This is stated in an official letter from the International Olympic Committee.
In 2012, she received the Olympic flame together with Roman Shchurenko in Nikopol.
She currently heads Sports School No. 2 'Nikopol-98'.
Personal Life. She raises twins - a son and a daughter.
