Place of birth. Education.

Born in Simferopol. Graduate of the Dragomanov Pedagogical Institute in Kyiv, directing faculty of the Karpenko-Kary Institute of Theater Arts (master class by A. Serebrennikov, A. Marchenko).

Career.

Since 1999, she has been leading the production studio Studio Bayrak, which produces commissioned films and series for Ukrainian and Russian TV channels.

Director. Oksana Bayrak has directed numerous films, including: 'Nothing happens twice' (2017), '40+, or Geometry of Feelings' (2016), 'To see the rainbow', 'Share your happiness', 'The Chosen One' (2015), 'Late Regrets' (2013), 'My New Life', 'Winter Dream' (2011), 'Cinderella from the Island of Djerba' (2009), 'That's me' (2009), 'Cardiogram of Love' (2008), 'I want a child' (2008), 'Villa of Divorce or Dance of the Solar Eclipse' (2007), 'Male Intuition' (2007), 'Aurora' (2006), 'Infant' (2006), 'Female Intuition' (2003), 'Female Intuition-2' (2005), 'Bat' (2005), 'Two Kilometers to New Year' (2004), 'To You, the True' (2004), 'Kill me! Please' (2004), 'Snow Love or Dream in the Winter Night' (2003), 'Slacker' (2002), 'Paid in Advance' (1992), 'Cruise or Journey into Divorce' (1991) and others.

Awards and Ratings. At the IV National Film Awards of Ukraine (2007), Oksana Bayrak received awards in three categories: 'Best National Film' ('Aurora'), 'Best Film Website' ('Aurora') and 'Man of the Year in the Film Industry'.

She was the author and host of the show 'Sentimental Ballads of Serious Men' on the Inter channel. Since 2009, she has been hosting the show 'Let's Get Married' on the STB channel.

In 2007, Oksana Bayrak ranked 98th on the list of '100 Most Influential Women in Ukraine' by 'Focus' magazine.

Political Career. In 2006, Bayrak tried to become a deputy of the Ukrainian Parliament, running 4th on the list of the pro-Russian party 'Party of Putin Politicians' (the party was renamed 'United Russia' in 2009). Bayrak did not succeed in entering the Ukrainian Parliament, as the PPP did not pass the electoral threshold.

Civil Position. Oksana Bayrak has a negative attitude towards the protests of 2013-2014, later known as Euromaidan, and after the annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014, she permanently moved to Russia, where she works and lives.

Since March 20, 2017, she has been the author and host of her own TV show 'Open with Oksana Bayrak' on the 'TV Center' channel (Russia).

Family Ties. She was married to cameraman Alexander Kopeikin. Her partner is Georgy Moskaluk (born 1986), fitness trainer.
