Place of Birth. Education. Born in Kyiv. His father is the renowned Ukrainian director Andrey Benkendorf.
Graduated from the Kyiv State Institute of Culture (director of the theatre collective) and courses for camerawork (cameraman).Career. Since 1997 - at the television channel Inter. Started as an administrator. Became Executive Producer of the channel, Director of Inter Media Production (part of the Inter Group and produces series and feature films for the channel), producer of the documentary studio '07 Production', Deputy Director of the studio Pirat Production.

Since November 10, 2016 - General Director of the channel 112 Ukraine. 112 Ukraine is a private pro-Russian propaganda channel. It belonged to the media group 'Novosti', whose unofficial owner was Viktor Medvedchuk (due to his connection with Taras Kozak).
Attempts in politics. Benkendorf claims that the popular slogan 'East and West - Together!' during the 'Orange Revolution' belongs to him.
In the spring of 2008, after the announcement of early elections for the mayor of Kyiv and the deputies of the Kyiv City Council, he ran for the position of city head.
