Place of Birth. Education. Branson was born on July 18, 1950, in the Blackheath district of London. His father, Edward James Branson, was a lawyer, and his mother, Eva Branson, worked in theater and was a paragliding instructor. Until the age of 13, Branson attended primary school and then transferred to another school. In school, he had difficulties learning due to his dyslexia.

At the age of 16, Branson left school and moved to London, where he founded his first successful business - Student Magazine. Later, he established the first charitable center - Student Advisory Centre.

Business. Branson started his first business with vinyl records after acquiring well-known faulty recordings. He sold these recordings in shops in London.
