Biography of Maxim Yurievich Burbak

Maxim Yurievich Burbak - Member of the Ukrainian Parliament in the VII and VIII convocations. Member of the People's Front party. From February 27 to December 2, 2014, he served as the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

Place of Birth. Education. Born in Chernivtsi. He graduated from Chernivtsi National University of Yuriy Fedkovych in 1998, specializing in law.

Career. From 1998 to 2005, he worked in the commercial sector.

2006-2008 - Deputy Director of LLC 'Fintrast', Chernivtsi.

2008-2011 - Director of LLC 'Bukovina Auto Alliance', Chernivtsi.

Political Career. 2010-2012 - Deputy of the Chernivtsi Regional Council, head of the Front for Change faction, chairman of the Chernivtsi regional organization of the Front for Change. At the same time, he headed the regional public organization First Agrarian Cluster.

From December 2012 to March 2014 - Member of the Ukrainian Parliament in the VII convocation. He was elected to Parliament on the list of the All-Ukrainian Union 'Fatherland' under No. 43. Member of the Political Council of the 'Fatherland' party.

February-December 2014 - Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine (in the cabinet of Arseniy Yatsenyuk). Burbak was succeeded in the position of Minister of Infrastructure by Andriy Pivovarsky.

In September 2014, he joined the People's Front party.

In the early elections in the fall of 2014, he was elected to the Verkhovna Rada of the VIII convocation from district No. 204 in the Chernivtsi region by the People's Front. Initially, he was the deputy head of the People's Front faction and from July 2015, the faction leader. First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Veterans, Combatants, ATO Participants, and Persons with Disabilities.

Chairman of the NGO Interregional Agrarian Union, Chernivtsi.

Family. Married, with two children. His wife runs the business founded by Burbak (international freight forwarding company).
