Date of Birth: 05.03.1975

Olga Anatolievna Buslavets - the former acting Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine, former First Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine.

Place of Birth. Education. Born on March 5 1975 in Makeevka, Donetsk Oblast. Graduated from Donetsk National Technical University, Faculty of Power Supply, with a degree in Electrical Engineering.Career. Her first job was at a coal mining company Donetskugol, where Buslavets worked as an economist and engineer for settlement power networks. The next step was working at the State Joint Stock Company UkrEnergoCoal.

In 2005, she transitioned to the public service. Since 2005, she has worked as a chief specialist in the Department of Electricity of the Ministry of Energy. She has progressed from chief specialist in the Department of Electricity of the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy to the Director of the Electricity Sector Department (2015-2017) in this field.

From December 2017 until February 10, 2020, she was the General Director of the Directorate for Energy Markets of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry.

Since April 16 2020 - she has been fulfilling the duties of the Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine and the first Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine interim.

On November 20, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to temporarily dismiss the acting Minister of Energy Olga Buslavets and appointed her deputy Yuriy Boyko as the new minister.

On December 21, 2020, the Cabinet accepted the resignation of Olga Buslavets from her position as the First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Energy.

Since April 2021 - external advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov.

Academic Activity. She is co-author of 15 scientific works on improving efficiency in electricity transmission and distribution.

Awards and Titles. Doctor of Technical Sciences (2017). State employee, II category.

She holds the honorary title 'Honored Energy Supplier of Ukraine'.

Declaration. In her declaration for the year 2019, Olga Buslavets reported owning a 78 m² apartment in Kyiv, a 32 m² garage, and two plots of land in Kyiv and Zhytomyr Oblasts. The total area is 2200 square meters.

Her husband Alexander owns three plots of land in Zhytomyr Oblast totaling 5.335 square meters and two residential houses. He is also the owner of the LLC 'CBM', which is engaged in wholesale trade of food, beverages, and tobacco.

The family fleet consists of two cars - a 2018 Nissan X-Trail and a 1992 Volkswagen Passat.
