Place of birth. Education. Aleksandr Daniluk was born on July 22, 1975, in the city of Grigoriopol (Moldova). After his birth, the Daniluk family returned to Kyiv. His father, Oleksandr Petrovich Daniluk, worked as the director of the Academic Promot Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and his mother, Lyudmyla Vladimirovna Daniluk, taught cybernetics at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

Aleksandr Daniluk studied in the physics and mathematics class at Kyiv School No. 15.

In 1998, he graduated from the National Technical University (KPI) with a degree in electrical engineering and simultaneously obtained an education in finance at the Kyiv Institute of Investments.

From 1999 to 2001, Daniluk studied at the Indiana University Business School (USA), where he obtained an MBA degree. He speaks five languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English, Spanish, and French.

Career. Aleksandr Daniluk began his career in 1995 as a broker at the Ukrainian company TEKT, then as the head of the investment banking department at 'Alfa Capital' and a junior investment manager at the American fund Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF).

For three years, Daniluk worked at the international consulting firm McKinsey & Company in London and Moscow.

From 2006 to 2010, he was the director of the Rurik Investment fund in London and Luxembourg.

Since September 2010, Aleksandr Daniluk has been leading the Coordination Center for Economic Reform Implementation. He won the competition for this position. The Coordination Center was directly supervised by the head of the AP, Serhiy Levotskin.

On February 24, 2014, he was dismissed by the order No. 115/2014 of acting president Oleksandr Turchynov from the position of presidential advisor.

On July 17, 2014, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko appointed Aleksandr Daniluk as the president's representative in the Cabinet of Ministers by order No. 598/2014.

It is worth noting that previously, Oleksandr Daniluk was an advisor to President Viktor Yanukovych. As noted by the Mirror of the Week, not all the reform projects of the Coordination Center, developed by intellectuals under Daniluk's leadership, were needed by Yanukovych and Prime Minister Mykola Azarov. It is likely that the portfolio of unrealized reforms will be handed over to the current head of state.

It should be added that Oleksandr Daniluk was considered by Petro Poroshenko for the position of deputy head of the AP, which was to coordinate reforms, but this position was awarded to the general director of Microsoft Ukraine Dmytro Shimkiw.

On September 25, 2015, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko appointed Daniluk as deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine by order No. 562/2015.

On April 14, 2016, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and approved Volodymyr Groysman in his place. On the same day, the parliament approved a new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers, in which Daniluk received the position of Minister of Finance of Ukraine.

On June 6, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman requested the Verkhovna Rada to dismiss Daniluk. On June 7, 2018, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Minister of Finance Aleksandr Daniluk. 254 deputies voted for the dismissal of the Minister of Finance.

In 2019, during the presidential elections in Ukraine, he became an advisor on international policy and economics to the presidential candidate of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

On May 28, 2019, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed the order appointing Alessandro Daniluk as Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

On June 19, 2019, President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alessandro Daniluk as director of the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center.

At the end of September 2019, Aleksandr Daniluk submitted a resignation request from the position of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. On September 30, 2019, President Volodymyr Zelensky approved Daniluk's resignation by his order.

On September 25, 2020, Aleksandr Daniluk was elected chairman of the supervisory board of the National Depository.

Family. Oleksandr Daniluk is married and has two children. His first wife, Olha Vladimirovna Daniluk, is from Lviv and received her education at the British college Saint Martin's College of Art and Design in London and also defended her doctorate at the Royal School of Speech and Drama. She worked as a theater designer in New York and Moscow. She currently works as a theater director in London.

His older son Richard (2001) was born in Kyiv. He is interested in physics, chemistry, and other exact sciences. He currently studies at one of the oldest British colleges - Winchester College. His younger son Volodymyr (2011) was born in London. He loves chess and football.

On July 7, 2022, Aleksandr Daniluk married for the second time. His wife - Lilia Litkovska, a Ukrainian designer. The wedding took place at St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv.

Hobbies. Mountaineering, rock climbing, hiking, sports cycling, kayaking.
