Jurij Bohdanowytsch Dervjanko - People's Deputy of Ukraine VII and VIII legislative periods, member of the Volya party council.

Place of Birth. Education. Born on May 7, 1973, in the city of Nadvirna, Ivano-Frankivsk region. In 1990, he graduated from Nadvirna Secondary School No. 1.

In 1991, he entered the Kyiv Institute of Economics named after Korotchenko. In 1996, he obtained a master's degree in accounting and auditing with a specialization in accounting and auditing in banks.

Entrepreneurial Activity. While studying at the university, he began his entrepreneurial activities. In 1995, he started working in the pharmaceutical business and founded the company Farmatek, which dealt with the distribution of medicines.

In 2000, Dervjanko, together with producer Viktor Slepzow, founded the Borisfen-Lyutes company for the production of animated films.

In 2006, he sold his shares to investors.

Political Activity. In 2010, he was elected as a deputy to the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council as a majority candidate from the political party Front Zmin.

On August 10, 2012, he announced his withdrawal from the political party Front Zmin, as he disagreed with the party's decision-making principles. On the same day, he was expelled from the party office for failing to implement the decision regarding participation in the parliamentary elections as part of the United Opposition Batkivshchyna and the formation of a single candidate list in majoritarian constituencies from Front Zmin. In August 2012, Jurij Dervjanko was expelled from the Front Zmin faction in the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council.

In October 2012, he was elected as a deputy of the Ukrainian Parliament in the 87th electoral district in Ivano-Frankivsk. He was independent.

From February 27, 2014, to July 24, 2014, he was part of the coalition of democratic forces and the European Choice coalition. He was a member of inter-factional parliamentary groups: European Choice, For the Development of Local Self-Government, For the Ukrainian Language, Carpathian Group, For a Sober Future, Reform Platform.

In October 2014, he was re-elected as a deputy of the Ukrainian Parliament in the 87th electoral district in Ivano-Frankivsk. According to Central Election Commission data, 69.7% of the voters in his district supported the candidate.

Since December 4, 2014, he has been a member of the Committee on Prevention and Combating Corruption. Chairman of the Subcommittee on Compliance with the Law on Prevention and Combating Corruption by State and Local Authorities.

Member of the Volya party council. On April 19, 2017, the merger of the Volya party with the Ukrainian political party Rukh novykh syly, whose leader is Mikheil Saakashvili, was announced.

On January 27, 2019, Jurij Dervjanko was nominated as a candidate for the presidency of Ukraine at the XVI extraordinary congress of the Volya party.

Family. Married, raising four children: one daughter and three sons.
