Biography of Konstantin Petrovich Eliseev

Konstantin Petrovich Eliseev - Ukrainian diplomat. Ambassador of Ukraine. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (2007-2010). Representative of Ukraine to the European Union (2010-2015).

Place of Birth. Education. Born in Krasnoarmeisk, Donetsk region. In 1992, he graduated from the Ukrainian Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Specialist in International Relations, Translator-Interpreter for French).

Career. 1992-1993 - Attaché of the grouping of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Attaché, Third Secretary in the field of international organizations of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

1993-1994 - Third Secretary in political affairs of the UN and its specialized agencies of the Ministry for International Organizations of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

1994-1997 - Third, Second Secretary of the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations (New York).1997-1999 - Second, First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in the French Republic (Paris).

1999-2000 - Senior Advisor in the field of bilateral cooperation of the Main Department for Foreign Policy of the Administration of the President of Ukraine (Leonid Kuchma).

2000-2004 - Head of the Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (Anatoliy Hryshchenko, Konstantin Gryshchenko).

2004-2007 - Deputy Representative of Ukraine to the European Union (Brussels).

10.2007-06.2010 - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Volodymyr Ogryzko, Petro Poroshenko).

Since November 30, 2007, he has been the head of the Ukrainian delegation in negotiations with the EU on the conclusion of an Association Agreement.

On June 29, 2010, he was appointed Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the European Union by decree of President Viktor Yanukovych.

Since 2013 - advisor to President Yanukovych, Commissioner of Ukraine for Foreign Policy and Integration Issues.

On July 15, 2015, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko appointed Konstantin Eliseev as Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Ukraine.

On May 16, 2019 Konstantin Eliseev resigned from his position as Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Ukraine.
