Place of Birth. Education. Born in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Graduate of the National University of Physical Education and Sport of Ukraine.

Olympics 2004 in Athens - 4th place.

European Championships 2007 and 2008 - 1st place.

Silver medalist of the XXIX Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. In the quarterfinals, V. Fedorishin defeated the athlete from Kyrgyzstan, Bazar Bazarduruev (3:1) and in the semifinals lost to the Japanese, Kenichi Yumoto (1:3). In the final, he lost to the Russian, the Olympic champion of 2004, Mavlet Batirov (1:3).

Nominated for the best wrestler of the year 2008 by the International Wrestling Federation (FILA).

Bronze medalist of the European Championship 2009.

Bronze medalist of the European Championship 2010.

In 2009 at the XVIII Maccabiah in Israel, he won gold in the weight class up to 66 kilograms.

At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Fedorishin lost in the round of 16 to the Georgian Malhaz Zarkua.

On April 5, 2017, the International Olympic Committee revoked Fedorishin's silver medal from the 2008 Games due to doping found in his samples - Turinabol.

He is working as a coach.
