Egor Firsov

Egor Pavlovich Firsov - member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine VII (from the UDAR party) and VIII (from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc) convocations. Former acting head of the State Ecological Inspection.
Place of Birth. Education. Born on December 1, 1988, in Donetsk. In 2014, he graduated from Donetsk National University, Faculty of Economics and Law (now the Law Faculty) with a degree in 'Law'.
Career. He began his career in 2011 as a history and law teacher at secondary school No. 4 in Avdiivka.
Political Career. He worked in the Budennovsk District election headquarters of the Yediny Center party during the local elections of 2010. He was detained on election day for recording manipulations with ballots.
Since 2011 - a member of the UDAR political party of Vitali Klitschko.
From 2011 to 2012 - assistant to the People's Deputy Iryna Herashchenko.
Since March 2012 - head of the Donetsk regional organization of the UDAR political party.
In May 2012, he headed the election headquarters of the UDAR party in the Donetsk region.
Organizer of the Avtomaidan in the Donetsk region. One of the coordinators of the Committee of Patriotic Forces of Donbas.
In the parliamentary elections of 2012, he was a candidate for the People's Deputies from the UDAR party, included in the party list under No. 37. He did not make it to the parliament as UDAR received only 34 seats.
In the parliamentary elections in November 2014, he was nominated on the party list of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc as part of the quota of the UDAR party, becoming one of the youngest deputies of the convocation. On April 24, 2014, he took the oath as a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the VII convocation, replacing Roman Vanzuryak.
Since June 2014, he has been a member of the committee on tax and customs policy. In the VIII convocation, he is part of the Committee on European Integration.
In November 2015, he joined the 'Anti-Corruption Platform' party group. On February 8, 2016, he left the BPP faction due to its position in the conflict between Minister of Economic Development Aivaras Abromavicius and Deputy Igor Kononenko. Firsov himself stated that he wished to leave the party and faction whose leaders engage in 'corrupt activities'.
On March 28, 2016, the Central Election Commission of Ukraine deprived Firsov of his mandate along with Mykola Tomenko after their powers were terminated by the BPP congress.
On March 29, 2016, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced the premature termination of Egor Firsov's deputy powers based on the decision of the BPP congress in accordance with part 4 of Article 81 paragraph 6 of the Constitution of Ukraine and taking into account the Central Election Commission of Ukraine resolution No. 91 dated March 28, 2016.
He announced his candidacy in the early elections for the People's Deputy on July 17, 2016, in Chernihiv. According to the voting results, he took fifth place with a result of 4.07% (1,980 votes).
In May 2018, the leader of the Civil Position party Anatoliy Hrytsenko and the leader of the 'Alternative' party Egor Firsov announced the merger of their political forces. According to Firsov, his party made this decision in particular in the context of the upcoming parliamentary elections and the presidential elections in Ukraine. At the same time, Firsov promised that his party members would also support Hrytsenko as the sole candidate for the presidency.
On November 21, 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Egor Firsov as the acting head of the State Ecological Inspection. On May 13, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Andriy Malyovany as the head of the State Ecological Inspection.
