Criminal Case. On November 23, 2008, officials of the capital's police and the SBU detained Robert Fletcher in Kyiv on suspicion of fraud. The day before, a criminal case was initiated due to signs of a crime under Article 190, Part 4 of the Ukrainian Penal Code. The reason for the prosecution was the results of an investigation conducted by GSBEU officials based on complaints from several Ukrainian citizens about fraudulent activities by the LLC 'Global Training Systems' and its co-owner and director Robert Fletcher. As Money.ua previously reported, a certain Irina Beskrovnaya, who appeared as a former accountant of the GST company, stated directly in front of the cameras of the STB channel that the 'millionaire mentor's' empire was simply a pyramid in which students received money by bringing new interested parties to training and investing in dubious business projects (according to some information, in fictitious or low-profit and therefore questionable business projects).

On February 13, 2015, after more than 6 years in pre-trial detention, Robert Fletcher was released on bail of 1 million Hryvnias, the trial is still ongoing. He is currently under house arrest, but is already taking money from people for his services and promising success with new projects.
On February 27, 2015, a new company 'Freedom Training System' was established, which is supposed to operate over the Internet based on the principle of network marketing. The 'millionaire mentor' offers to invest money in various new projects, including cryptocurrency.
