Ivan Karlovich Havchuk - Head of the Regional Government of the Chmelnytskyi Oblast (2007-2010)
Place of Birth. Education. Born at the Ozersk station in the Qostanai Oblast of Kazakhstan.
Graduated from the Ivan Franko State University of Lviv (Law Faculty) in 1983.
Career. 1972-1974 - Accountant of the Chmelnytskyi Canteen Combine, accompanying mailman, performing the duties of the head of the mobile communication service of the Deraschnjanskij Rayon Communication Node (Chmelnytskyi Oblast).
1976-1984 (after military service) - Secretary of the Nischenskij Village Council, instructor, head of the department of the Deraschnjanski Rayon Komsomol (Chmelnytskyi Oblast).
1984-1985 - Trainee of the Deputy Public Prosecutor, Deputy Public Prosecutor of the city of Slavuta, Chmelnytskyi Oblast.
1985-1987 - Public Prosecutor of the General Supervision Department of the Chmelnytskyi Oblast Prosecutor's Office.
1987-1992 - Deputy Public Prosecutor of Chmelnytskyi.
1992-1995 - First Deputy Public Prosecutor of Chmelnytskyi.
1995-2000 - Public Prosecutor of Chmelnytskyi.
2000-2002 - Public Prosecutor of the Krasyliv District (Chmelnytskyi Oblast).
2002-2007 - Lawyer.
In December 2007, appointed Head of the Regional Government of the Chmelnytskyi Oblast by the decree of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko. Dismissed by President Viktor Yanukovych on March 18, 2010.
Since 2008, a member of the Political Council of the United Centre Party (Chairman - Ihor Kryl). Previously a member of the People's Party Our Ukraine.
