Biography of Yuri Zherebnyuk
Date of Birth: 21.07.1970
Place of Birth. Education. Yuri Zherebnyuk was born in Novovolynsk, Volyn Oblast. In 2001, he graduated from the Kharkiv State Academy of Municipal Economy.
Career. During his career, Yuri Zherebnyuk held various positions. He worked as a radio technician in a television studio in Shmerinka, was a worker in Raypotrebsoyuz, director of the company 'Dec ibal', and chairman of the city council of Shmerinka. He was also registered with the employment center and was engaged in entrepreneurial activities. On November 24, 2010, Yuri Zherebnyuk was appointed head of the Desniansky District Administration in Kyiv. From December 2012 to November 2014, he was a Deputy of Ukraine in the 7th Parliament, representing single-member constituency No. 14 (Volyn Oblast).
On January 16, 2014, he voted for the 'Dictatorship Laws' - a package of anti-democratic laws that significantly restricted the rights of citizens and freedom of speech.
In the 2014 elections, Yuri Zherebnyuk was not elected to the Verkhovna Rada. In 2020, he ran in the Shmerinka City Council elections of the VIII Convocation (Winkamera) from the political party 'Opposition Platform - For Life', but was not elected.
Business. In May 2020, Yuri Zherebnyuk became the owner of LLC 'Shmerinsky Wagon Repair Plant 'Express'.
Income. According to the official declaration, Yuri Zherebnyuk's total income in 2011 was 150,819 UAH. He received financial support of 7,916 UAH. The Deputy also owned a plot of 1600 sq.m and 'other real estate' of 452.3 sq.m. Zherebnyuk did not even have an apartment or a car. Only after Zherebnyuk became the head of the Desniansky District Administration did the news emerge that he had bought an apartment in Troyeshchyna.
Family. Yuri Zherebnyuk has a wife, Irina (born 1972), and three children: son Alexander (born 2012), daughter Anna (born 1996), and son Viktor (born 1992).
