Place of Birth. Education. Born in the Lviv region. In 1978, she graduated from the Lviv Cooperative College. In 1983, she graduated from the technological faculty of the Kyiv Trade and Economic Institute.

Career. 1983-1988 - master of production training in the system of vocational education at the Kyiv Culinary School.

1988-1993 - Senior engineer-technologist of the enterprise Association 906 at the Higher Party School.

In the fall of 2012, she ran for the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of the VII convocation as a self-nominee in the single-mandate district No. 215 in Kyiv. Her main competitor was the 'Svoboda' party member Andriy Ilyenko, who ultimately succeeded in entering the Rada. This district was one of the hottest points during the elections - for several days they could not count the ballots, and periodic clashes between law enforcement officers and supporters of the candidates occurred. Hereka did not recognize the defeat, but refused to sue, stating that she did not want to gain a deputy mandate 'at the cost of blood'.

In June 2014, by the order of Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko, she was dismissed from the position of Secretary of the Kyiv City Council due to the expiration of her authority. She was replaced by Oleksiy Reznikov in this position.

Status. According to Forbes magazine, Hereka ranked 38th in the ranking of the 100 richest businessmen in Ukraine in 2011. Her net worth was estimated at $248 million. Hereka's spouse, Oleksandr, ranked 35th in the same ranking with a fortune of $279 million.

In 2020, in the ranking of the richest Ukrainians by Forbes Ukraine, Hereka ranked fourth with a fortune of $1.3 billion.

Family ties. Married, has a son. Hereka's husband, Oleksandr Hereka, is a member of the VII convocation of the Parliament, a member of the Party of Regions faction.
