Danylo Alexandrovich Getmancev - Doctor of Law, Professor, Lawyer, Owner and Honorary President of the Jurimex law firm, Expert of TaxLink, President of the Union of Tax Advisers, Member of the European Association of Tax Law Professors (EATLP). Expert in Economics, Finance and Taxation in the team of Volodymyr Zelensky, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament IX convocation for the Sluha Narodu party.

Place of Birth. Education. Born on April 26, 1978, in Kyiv. In 1995 he graduated from the Ukrainian Humanitarian Gymnasium of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 2000, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with honors.

In 2004, he defended his dissertation to obtain the academic degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences.

In 2012, he defended his dissertation to obtain the academic degree of Doctor of Legal Sciences.

Career. From 2000 to 2006, he worked at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv as an assistant.

In 2004, he received a license to practice law.

From 2007 to 2013, he was a lecturer at the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law, later Financial Law, of the Faculty of Law at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Since 2013, he has been a professor at the Department of Financial Law of the Faculty of Law at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

In 2016, he became a member of the European Association of Tax Law Professors. Danylo Getmancev was the first Ukrainian representative among 350 professors from around the world admitted to the Association.

In 2016, he participated in a competition for the Supreme Court but was not selected.

Since 2018, he has been a member of the Academic Committee of EATLP.

Business. Founder, Honorary President, Head of the Banking and Financial Law Practice at Jurimex law firm.

Danylo Getmancev has corporate rights and is one of the co-founders of the company 'M.S.L.' - operator of state lotteries.

Political Activity. In the 2019 parliamentary elections, he was elected as a deputy from the Sluha Narodu party in 20th place. Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Tax, Customs and Financial Policy in the Ukrainian Parliament IX convocation.

Scientific Activity. Danylo Getmancev deals with issues of improving legislation in the field of financial accountability, indirect taxation, and taxation of assets.

He makes a significant contribution to the theory of taxation. In his works, he pays great attention to the development of tax administration, the introduction of electronic management, and the protection of taxpayers. He consistently defends gradual, consistent, and economically justified changes in tax law and warns against the negative consequences of radical tax changes. He advocates for individual approaches to the taxation of economic activities to support domestic industries with increasing revenue.

Legislative initiatives. He was involved in the development of the draft law on state lotteries in Ukraine. He participated in the revision of the Ukrainian Tax Code. He actively worked on expert opinions on the interpretation of tax legislation at the request of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and the Supreme Court of Ukraine.

Articles and Publications. Since 2001, Danylo Getmancev has authored more than 230 scientific and scientific-methodological works.

Award. He is among the top 100 lawyers in Ukraine and is considered one of the leading lawyers in the country in the field of banking and financial law, securities, and the capital market.

Family. He has a son - Ivan.
