Biography of Oleg Vladimirovich Gladkovsky

Oleg Vladimirovich Gladkovsky (formerly Swynarchuk until 2014) - President of the Bogdan automotive group, first deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (2015-2019). Close associate and business partner of the fifth President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko.

Place of Birth. Education. Born on February 5, 1970, in Chudnove, Zhytomyr Oblast. In 1994, he graduated from the Kyiv Institute of Transport. He obtained a degree in Transport Organization and Management of Motor Vehicles.

Career. Engaged in commercial structures since 1990.

Since July 2019, Oleg Gladkovsky again leads the Bogdan group.

Journalistic Investigation. On February 25, 2019, investigative journalists from Bihus.info claimed in the program 'Our Money' that there was a long-standing money laundering scheme involving hundreds of millions of Hryvnias from the Ukrainian defense sector, allegedly involving the 22-year-old son of the deputy secretary of the NSDC, Oleg Gladkovsky, a business partner of President Petro Poroshenko. The journalists stated that they received an anonymous letter in the fall of 2018 containing an archive of correspondence among those involved in the scheme. It concerns events since 2016 when, according to the journalists, several high-ranking officials and their associates sold spare parts for military equipment from Ukrainian defense firms at a markup of up to 300%. The goods were illegally imported from Russia or purchased from military unit warehouses in Ukraine. According to media reports, this amounted to about 250 million Hryvnias.
