Alexander Hug

Alexander Hug - the first Deputy Head of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.
Place of Birth. Education. He is a citizen of Switzerland. He graduated as a lawyer.
Career. He served in the Swiss Army as an officer and then reached the position of regional commander in the Swiss Armed Forces Support Group at the OSCE Headquarters in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He worked in the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, the temporary international presence mission in Hebron, and the EU Mission for the Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX).
He was the head and senior advisor of the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities.
In 2014, he began working with the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine.
On October 31, 2018, Hug left his position.
