Ruslan Petrovich Prince - Ukrainian politician and lawyer. Deputy of the Supreme Council of the VIII Congress. Doctor of Law (2003).
Place of Birth. Education. Born in Ivano-Frankivsk. In 1996, he graduated from the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 2000, he earned his PhD at the Institute of State and Law of the Koretsky National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (specialization - International lawyer, translator-interpreter for English). Doctor of Law (2003).
Career. Since 1997, Assistant-Adviser to the Ukrainian Member of Parliament.
1997-2000 - Assistant to the Chairman, 2000-2002 - Head of the Service, first assistant to the Chairman, since July 2002 Head of the Secretariat of the Central Election Commission.
2004-2006 - Member of the Central Election Commission. One of the few members of the CEC, led by the parliamentary deputy of the Party of Regions, Sergei Kivalov, who refused in 2004 to recognize Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych as the winner of the presidential election runoff.
Since May 2006, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the V and VI Congresses. In 2006, he received his mandate from the list of the election bloc Our Ukraine, which supported President Viktor Yushchenko. In the V Congress Parliament, he was the Secretary of the Committee on Legal Affairs.

Family Connections. Kнязевич - nephew of the former Minister of Health of Ukraine Vasyl Kнязевич, a member of Yulia Tymoshenko's second government. The biological uncle of the deputy had already overseen a group of doctors taking care of the health of the third president, Yushchenko, after his poisoning before assuming the ministerial portfolio.
