Olga Vasilievna Korobka is a Ukrainian weightlifter. Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine.

Place of Birth. Education. Born in Bobrovitsa, Chernihiv Oblast. Graduate of Lviv State Agricultural University.

General Information. Weight class - over 75 kg. Height - 181 cm.

Competitor for 'Dynamo' - 'Kolos', Chernihiv.

Coach - Vasiliy Kulak. First coach - Nikolay Molchenko.

Awards and Achievements. Honored Master of Sports.

European Championship 2006 - 1st place, 2007 - 1st place.
World Championship 2006 - 3rd place, 2007 - 3rd place.

Silver medalist of the XXIX Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. Olga Korobka lifted 124 kg in snatch and 153 kg in clean and jerk (total 277 kg). The first place with a world record went to South Korean Chan Mi-ran - 140 kg in snatch, 186 kg in clean and jerk (326 kg total). Bronze went to Maria Grabovetska from Kazakhstan (120 kg in snatch, 150 kg in clean and jerk).

In February 2012, she was disqualified for four years due to doping.
On October 27, 2016, the International Olympic Committee announced that Olga Korobka would be stripped of the silver medal she won at the weightlifting competitions at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing due to doping.

She has left professional sports. Works as a coach in her hometown Chernihiv. Trains children in the youth sports school.

Family. Married. On September 20, 2016, Olga Korobka gave birth to a son.
