Kelly Knight Craft is an American entrepreneur and diplomat, former U.S. Permanent Representative to the UN, former United States Ambassador to Canada.
Place of Birth. Education. She was born on February 24, 1962, in Fayette County, Kentucky, USA. Her father was a Democratic Party activist, chaired the party in Barren County, Kentucky. She grew up in the city of Glasgow, Kentucky, and graduated from Glasgow High School in 1980.
In 1984, she received a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky.
Career. Craft was the director of Kelly G. Knight LLC, a consulting firm in Lexington, Kentucky.
From August 2016 to 2017, Craft served on the board of trustees of the University of Kentucky.
Honorary Doctorate from Morehead University.
Political Career. In the 2004 presidential election, Craft supported George W. Bush.
In 2007, George Bush appointed Craft as Deputy U.S. Representative to the UN.
Her duties included consultations with the UN ambassador on U.S./Africa policy.
During the 2016 presidential election, Craft and her husband supported Senator Marco Rubio and businessman Donald Trump. The couple contributed over $2 million to Donald Trump's presidential campaign.
In 2016, Craft was a delegate at the Republican National Convention from Kentucky.
From June 15, 2017, to 2019 - Ambassador to Canada.

Personal Life. She was first married to David S. Morrow, then to Jadson Knight. In April 2016, Craft married for the third time to Joe Craft, they have six children and eleven grandchildren. Her husband is a billionaire managing coal mining at Alliance Resource Partners, L.P., the third-largest coal producer in the eastern United States.
