Youth and Education

Nikolai Petrovich Kruhlov - People's Deputy of Ukraine VII. convocation. Chairman of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration (2010-2014). Member of the Party of Regions (2000-2014).

Born in the village of Stukar in the Veselinivsky district of the Mykolaiv region. In 1972, he graduated from the Odessa Higher Engineering Maritime College, specializing in 'Automation of Thermal Energy Processes'. In 1992 - Academy of National Economy under the Council of Ministers of the USSR specializing in 'Economics'.

Career

From 1972-1973 he worked as a mechanic on ships of the Azov Fleet.

From 1973 to 1985 he worked in organizations in Mykolaiv: in the project and design bureau for electrohydraulics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, in the special project and design bureau 'TOR' of the Ministry of Shipbuilding of the USSR, in the branch of the Institute 'Ukrholproekt'.

From 1985 to 1991, he was deputy chairman of the district executive committee of the Lenin district council of Mykolaiv, assistant to the chairman, first deputy chairman of the district plan, deputy head of the main planning and economic department of the Mykolaiv Regional Executive Committee.

From 1991 to 1995, he was the first deputy chairman of the Mykolaiv City Executive Committee, first deputy chairman of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, first deputy chairman of the Mykolaiv Regional Executive Committee.

From 1995 to 1997, he performed the duties of chairman and was chairman of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

In 1997, he became Minister of Transport of Ukraine.

From 1997 to 1999, he was chairman of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

From 2000 to 2001, he was the first deputy chairman of the Mykolaiv Regional Tax Administration.

From 2001 to 2002, he was assistant to the chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

From 2002 to 2010, he was a People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of IV-VI convocation. He was a member of the Party of Regions faction. He held the position of first deputy chairman of the Committee on Tax and Customs Policy.

From March 18, 2010 to 2014 - chairman of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

On October 21, 2013, Mykola Kruhlov confirmed his intention to run as a People's Deputy in the 132nd single-member district centered in Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv region. On December 15, 2014, he was elected People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine VII. convocation.

On February 22, 2014, he left the Party of Regions.

In 2020, he ran for the position of mayor of Mykolaiv from the party 'Our Edge'.
