Reviews. According to Ukrainska Pravda, Petro Krupko managed to become Minister of the Cabinet partly by a lucky coincidence. In the winter of 2005, when most high-ranking officials left the government building after the 'Orange Revolution', Krupko remained. And he was the one who welcomed Yulia Tymoshenko in February, after her appointment as Prime Minister, on her first working day in the Cabinet in front of the government building with a bouquet of white roses. And soon after, he became a minister.
For security reasons, he was assigned the former chairman of the board of the 'Tymoshenko' Corporation 'United Energy Systems of Ukraine' Yevhen Shaho as the first deputy minister. However, Petro Krupko was entrusted with the minister’s office the second time already as a proven member of the Tymoshenko team.
