Nikolai Nikolaevich Kuleba - the former Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Children's Rights

Date of birth: 23.03.1972

Place of birth. Education. Born on March 23, 1972, in Kyiv. From 1990 to 1994 he studied at the Kyiv Institute of National Economy.

In 2006, he graduated from the European University for Finance, Information Systems, Management, and Business with a major in 'Manager'.

He also graduated from the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine with a focus on 'public administration'.

Career. In 1989 - locksmith-toolmaker at the production association 'Artem'.

From 1997 to 1999 - manager of LLC 'Valenta'.

In 2001-2002 - director of LLC 'NPP Khimproekt'.

From 2006 to December 2014 - head of the children's department of the Kyiv City Administration.

From December 17, 2014, to May 19, 2019 - Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Children's Rights. On June 1, 2019, he was reappointed by President Vladimir Zelensky.

On June 15, 2021, President Zelensky dismissed Kuleba from the position of Children's Commissioner.

Social activities. In 2001, Nikolai Kuleba founded the charity organization 'Open Heart' and led it in 2002. During his five years of work in this organization, Nikolai Kuleba developed a model for the rehabilitation of street children and opened a network of specialized centers for working with street children.

In 2006, he took over the leadership of the international charity organization 'Children's Rescue Service'.

Family. Married. The family has three sons - Timofey, David, Elisei, and a daughter Leia.
