Date of Birth: 09.08.1979

Place of Birth. Education. Born in the city of Stryi in the Lviv region. In 2002, he graduated from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (faculty of history).

Career. Andrii Levus began his professional career after graduating from university in 2002. He is one of the coordinators of the Free People movement. In the 2012 parliamentary elections, he led the staff of Valentyn Nalyvaichenko in the Zboriv district of Ternopil region. He is a member of the resistance organizing committee. He was an active participant in the protest actions that seized Kyiv in the fall of 2013 and was the commander of the self-defense units of the Maidan.

On February 26, 2014, the acting President Oleksandr Turchynov appointed Andrii Levus as the Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine in his decree No. 163/2014.

On November 24, 2014, the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, dismissed Levus from the position of Deputy Head of the SBU due to his election as a deputy in the extraordinary parliamentary elections held on October 26.

He entered the Verkhovna Rada as a member of the party's People's Front list. He heads the subcommittee on state security of the Committee on National Security and Defense of the VR.

Andrii Levus is a long-time associate of deputy Andriy Parubiy.

He participated in the early parliamentary elections of 2019 from the European Solidarity party, but his place on the list (No. 29) was unsuccessful.

Family. Andrii Levus is married. He has a sister, Oksana Suranovych.
