Dmytro Lilak

Dmytro Dmytrovych Lilak - former judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
Place of Birth. Education. Born in Kadobna, Kalush District of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. In 1979, he graduated from the Chernihiv Law College. In 1987, he completed his legal studies at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Career. 1979-1980 - Inspector at the Social Insurance Office of the Pechersk District Executive Committee in Kyiv. Subsequently, he completed his military service.
1982-1992 - Inspector in the Operations Department for Monitoring Pension and Aid Payments of the Unified Center for Pension and Aid Payments of Kyiv and Kyiv Region, Inspector in the Pension Sector of the Kyiv City Social Welfare Office, Deputy Director and Director of the continually operating Republican Course of the Ministry of Social Protection of the USSR.
1992-2001 - Judge of the Supreme Economic Court of Ukraine.
2001-2006 - Judge of the Economic Chamber of the Supreme Court of Ukraine.
In November 2005, he was appointed by the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine and took the oath of office on August 4, 2006.
As of April 25, 2013, Lilak's term as a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine ended.
Author of several publications on legal theory and legislative collisions in Ukraine.
Awards. Awarded with the Certificate of Honor from the Government of Ukraine. Judge of the highest qualification class. Doctor of Law. Honored Lawyer of Ukraine.
