Anton Lirnik

Anton Anatolyevich Lirnik – Russian entertainer, screenwriter and television presenter of Ukrainian descent, musician, resident of the Comedy Club, participant of 'Duet after Chekhov', director and producer.
Place of birth. Education. Born in Kropyvnytskyi. There he attended a school with a sports focus. He began studying journalism at Kirovohrad University. He studied there for only two years before transferring to another university, where his educational path becomes unclear.
Career. During his time in his hometown, he performed with the most successful local KVN team 'Gulf Stream' (according to some information - 'Skif', but apparently the same group). Nevertheless, even though the group was supposedly good, there were no special achievements. At least, it was not seen on television.
Additionally, Anton worked at local television stations, where he gained valuable experience and was paid. Disappointed with provincial life, he moved to Kyiv in 2000 and worked there as a host for radio stations, hosted his own show on the Inter channel, and wrote screenplays for feature films.
Around 2003, he became part of the KVN team 'Alaska'. His talent did not fully unfold here, but the team became champions of the highest Ukrainian league. Moreover, the group reached the highest KVN league in Moscow with Alexander Maslyakov, but failed there twice, finishing last each time.
In the 'Alaska' group, Lirnik met Andrei Molotschny, his future partner in the comedy project 'Duet after Chekhov'.
In the winter of 2006, the project 'Comedy Club Ukraine' began - the Ukrainian version of the Russian stand-up show Comedy Club. Anton Lirnik was one of those involved in creating the program.
In the spring of 2006, 'Duet after Chekhov' was established. Already in June, the guys began performing as part of Comedy Club UA. The project started on the Inter channel, then moved to 1+1, and since March 2008, new episodes have been aired on the New Channel.
Anton worked on the scripts of the comedy series 'Taxi' (ICTV, Ukraine) as well as hosting the TV program. Anton Lirnik was also involved as a director and screenwriter for the sitcom 'Swallow's Nest' on the Inter TV channel.
Since 2015, Anton Lirnik has been a member of the jury of the comedy show Smile League. He was the coach of the teams 'Odessa Men' and 'Trio of different and Host' in the first season, as well as 'International Absurd Theater 'Spatzchen' and 'Tschap-Liap' - in the second. In the third season, Anton Lirnik is also part of the jury.
Since March 2018 he has been the host of the entertainment show 'Weekend Show' on the STS channel (Russia).
In 2020, he participated in the show 'Mask' on NTV.
Music. Anton Lirnik is musically active and is the author of lyrics and frontman of the band 'Lirnik Band'. The artistic path of the group begins with the video 'Schißulí', released in the fall of 2011.
In December 2011, Lirnik's music video for the song 'Winter' and 'Best Childhood' was released.
Books. In 2014, Anton Lirnik's first book titled 'Three in Thailand, without counting dogs' was published. The plot of Anton's book 'Three in Thailand, without counting dogs' was adapted into the game 'Our in Thailand'.
Civic position. During the Russian armed aggression against Ukraine he continues his active engagement in Russia at corporate events, television productions, and Comedy Club performances together with Andrei Molotschny.
Private life. First wife Tatiana, daughter Maria (died at the age of 8 from brain cancer). Second wife Valery Borodina, daughter Sofia. Third wife Marina Lirnik (Horudko), daughter Martha, born on April 12, 2017.
