Lyubonенко Yuriy

Place of birth. Education. Born on April 12, 1950, in the family of a railroad worker.
In 1978, he graduated from Kryvyi Rih Mining College with a degree in electrical engineering.
Career. At 17, he became an apprentice electrician.
Since 1971 - electrician in the communications shop of Kryvyi Rih Metallurgical Plant, mechanic for electric locomotive repairs, assistant driver of the electric section of the locomotive depot.
Until 1978 - secretary of the Komsomol committee of the railway junction.
Since 1984 - second secretary of the Dolgintsevskiy district committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine (Kryvyi Rih). Two years later, he became the chairman of the executive committee of the Dolgintsev district council of people's deputies.
Since 1994 - mayor of Kryvyi Rih.
From 1994 to 1999 - advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine on public positions.
From December 2012 to November 2014 - people's deputy of Ukraine of the VII convocation, candidate of the Party of Regions in the single-member district No. 32 in Dnipropetrovsk region. Member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Construction, Urban Development, Housing and Communal Services, and Regional Policy.
At the time of his election to the Verkhovna Rada, he was the general director of LLC NARA.
On January 16, 2014, he voted for the 'dictatorial laws' - a package of anti-democratic laws that significantly limited citizens' rights and freedom of speech.
