Date of Birth: 12.07.1971

Place of Birth. Education. Born in the city of Strazh in the Uzhhorod district of Transcarpathia region in a family of railway workers. In 1987, he graduated from Chop School No. 1 with Russian as the language of instruction. At a young age, he became a prize-winner of the All-Union Theater Festival of Agitation Groups. From 1989 to 1993, he studied at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (master class of Professor V.I. Zimnya) at the Kyiv State Institute of Theater Arts named after I. Karpenko-Karyi.

Career. From 1987-1989, he worked as a construction worker and diesel locomotive mechanic at the 'Chop' locomotive depot of the Lviv railway.

From 1993 to 1999, he was an actor at the O. Kobylansky Theater in Chernivtsi.

Since 1999, he has been a permanent director at the Pavel Zibrov Song Theater. He is an actor, screenwriter, and director of many concert works at the National Palace 'Ukraine'. He is the author of song lyrics performed by Pavel Zibrov, Irina Bilik, Taisia Povaly, Larisa Dolina, Yosif Kobzon, Ivo Bobul, Liliya Sandulesa, Marta, and other singers.

He is the author of the play 'Zadunaets behind the threshold' (Theater troupe 'Beniuk-Khostikoiev').

From 1999 to 2007, he was the host of the show 'Telefortune' on UT-1 (First National).

He is the permanent host of the stadium show at the matches of the national team of Ukraine and FC 'Dynamo' (Kyiv).

From 2008 to 2017, he was the co-host of the Shuster LIVE show (main host - Savik Shuster) on the Ukraine TV channel.

Since March 2017, Petro Maga has been the co-host of the show 'Evening Prime' on the 112.ua channel.

Awards. Honored Artist of Ukraine.

Family Relationships. In 1990, he married his classmate Tetiana Romanska. They have two daughters - Maria (a student at the Drama Directing Department of I. Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University of Theater Arts) and Nadiia.

Hobbies. Billiards, fishing, he is also an active football fan.
