Alexander Mangul - former head of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption.

Place of Birth. Education. Alexander Mangul was born on July 24, 1976, in Kamianka-Dniprovska, Zaporizhia region. He grew up in Melitopol and is the son of the local mayor Anatoliy Mangul, who served from 1990 to 1998. In 1999, he graduated from the Tavria State Academy of Agricultural Technology as an economist.

Alongside his professional activities, he graduated in 2004 from the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, earning a Master's degree in Public Management.

Career. From 2000 to 2013, he held various positions in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine as well as in the State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship. He held positions from leading specialist to department head.

From 2013 to February 2014, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Lysychansk Glass Plant 'Proletariy'.

From May 2015 to February 2018, he was the head of the Melitopol District State Administration in the Zaporizhia region.

By government decree No. 31-r, Mangul was appointed a member of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption on January 17, 2018.

On March 28, 2018, the members of the NAPK elected Alexander Mangul as the new head of the agency. Four out of five members of the agency voted for his candidacy.

On October 18, 2019 he prematurely resigned from his position as head of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption due to the entry into force of the law of Ukraine 'On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine to Ensure the Effectiveness of the Institutional Mechanism for Preventing Corruption' dated October 2 2019.

Declaration. According to the electronic declarations for 2018, Alexander Mangul has 75,000 UAH in the bank. He has 22,000 euros and 30,000 UAH in cash. Another 47,000 dollars belong to his wife Victoria Mulavko. In the District Administration of Melitopol, he earned 207,219 UAH and an additional 728 UAH for his teaching work at the Tavria State Academy of Agricultural Technology. His wife Victoria earned 30,912 UAH.

Alexander Mangul is a co-owner (25%) of an 80.30 square meter apartment in Kyiv, which he shares with his daughters Anastasia and Victoria, as well as Ludmila Mangul. He also owns a garage in the capital. His wife Victoria owns a 136.80 square meter apartment and a parking space in Kyiv.

Mangul drives a 2012 'Volkswagen Touareg'.

Family. Married. He has one son and two daughters from a previous marriage.
