Date of Birth: 13.08.1971
Place of Birth. Education. Born in Boryspil, Kyiv Region. In 1990, he graduated from the Chernihiv Law College. In 1995, he graduated from the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.
He holds the academic degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences in the field of Criminal Law and Criminology (Penitentiary Law).
Career. 1994-1998 - Assistant, Senior Assistant Prosecutor, Investigator, Deputy Prosecutor at the Boryspil District Prosecutor's Office.
1998-2001 - Deputy Prosecutor of Darnytsia District, Prosecutor of Podil District in Kyiv.
2000-2001 - Head of the Department for Coordination of Activities of Law Enforcement and Other State Agencies in the Fight Against Corruption and Organized Crime of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.
2001-2002 - Prosecutor of Kyiv Oblast.
2002-2003 - Deputy Prosecutor of Kyiv.
From December 2003 to January 2004 - Assistant, Senior Assistant of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Hennadiy Vasilyev.
2006-2007 - Member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the V term from the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc Party (No. 57 on the electoral list). Deputy Chairperson of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada for the Fight Against Corruption and Organized Crime.
2007-2012 - Member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the VI term from the BYuT Bloc (No. 57 on the list). Chairperson of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada for Legal Policy.
From December 2012 to November 2014 - Member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the VII term, elected to Parliament as an independent candidate in the single-member district No. 98 in Kyiv Region. Member of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada for Legal Policy. Not affiliated with any faction. Nonpartisan.
On February 2, 2013, he was elected Chairman of the political party Justice.
From November 27, 2014 to August 2019 - Member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the VIII term from the single-member district No. 98 in the Kyiv Region, independent candidacy. Member of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada for Legal Policy and Justice.
On April 12, 2016, he joined the faction of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc.
On December 23, 2016, Mishchenko left the faction of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
Awards. Since November 2001, he has held the title of State Counselor of Justice 3rd Class (Major General of Justice). Honored Lawyer of Ukraine (2011).
Family. Wife Tatyana Valentinovna, daughters Darya and Olga (born in 2001 and 2004).
