Viktor Nebozhenko

Place of Birth. Education. Born in Schmerinka in the Vinnytsia region. Graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy of Taras Shevchenko University Kyiv with a focus on 'applied sociology'. Doctor of Philosophy.
Career. He worked at the Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, at the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
1991-1992 - political commentator for the television channel UT-1.
1990-1994 - advisor to the Ukrainian Parliament's Committee for the Fight Against Organized Crime and Corruption.
In 1994, he participated in the first presidential campaign of former Ukrainian Prime Minister Leonid Kuchma.
1994-1996 - head of the Information and Analytical Department of the Administration of the President of Ukraine (Leonid Kuchma).
1996-1998 - Deputy Director of the National Security Fund.
1998-2000 - worked as a political technologist on several projects.
2000-2002 - expert of the Agency for Humanitarian Technologies, president of the Agency for Business Support 'Trident', head of the Center for Social and Political Technologies.
Since 2003 - head of the sociological service of the National Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Ukraine, director of the Sociological Service 'Ukrainian Barometer' (Kyiv).
Before 1990, he was a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. At that time, he was the deputy chairman of the All-Ukrainian Labor Party.
Family. Viktor Nebozhenko is married and has three children.
