Date of birth: 12.09.1983
Place of birth. Education. Born on September 12, 1983, in Kyiv. Besides attending school, Katya was involved in music and dancing (she danced in the choreographic ensemble 'Sokoly'). She graduated by correspondence from the history faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Modeling Career. At the age of thirteen, she began her professional modeling career, completing the modeling school of the 'Bagheera' agency. At the age of 14, after finishing the ninth grade, she went to Tokyo for a three-month shoot. Later, there were shoots in Germany, England, France. Katya took her school exams remotely due to a busy shooting schedule in Paris. At 18, Katya finished her modeling career and returned to live in Ukraine.
Television Career. Prepared for work in television with enthusiasm. Within a few months, she learned Ukrainian, attended announcer courses, studied the content of different channels, and searched for her format.
Her first experience in television journalism came after working as a freelance correspondent for the First National Channel.
In 2005, Katya auditioned and became the host of the 'Social Chronicles' project on the Tonis channel.
From March 2007, she hosted the 'Social Life' program on the First National.
From August 2008, she hosted the 'Social Life' program on the 1+1 channel.
In 2009, she participated in the second season of the 'Dancing for You' show on the 1+1 channel with partner Andriy Kryts.
In 2012, she became the host of the show 'Voice of the Country' on 1+1. In 2012, the channel launched the talent show 'Voice. Kids', where Katya's role as a host changed - she helped kids cope with pre-performance jitters.
From October 11, 2015, she hosted the show Little Giants on 1+1.
On October 31, 2017, Katya Osadcha became a jury member on the reality show 'Model XL' on the 1+1 channel. Together with designer André Tan, choreographer Vlad Yama, and Latvian model Tatiana Matskevich, they selected the face of the 'A.Tan +' collection among voluptuous girls.
Views and Evaluations. For a long time now, one of Katya Osadcha's signature 'attributes' has been fashionable and extremely sophisticated hats. Although in ordinary, non-glamorous life, the host does not fancy unconventional headwear and high heels.
In 2007, she was ranked 96th in the '100 Most Influential Women of Ukraine' rating, presented by Fokus magazine. According to the authors, the host's influence was due to the high ratings of the 'Social Life' TV show and her awareness of the behind-the-scenes lives of influential people.
In 2009, Katya Osadcha's crow-shaped hat on a branch was noted by the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph as one of the most extravagant at the 'Royal Ascot' horse races.
Personal Life. In 2001, Katya Osadcha married businessman and ex-MP from the Green Party, Oleg Polishchuk. In September 2002, she gave birth to their son, Ilya. In 2004, she divorced her husband.
Since 2017, she has been married to TV presenter and actor Yuriy Gorbunov. On February 18, 2017, the couple had a son, Ivan. On August 19, 2021, their second son was born.
