Alexander Iosifovich Paschaver - economist, Ph.D. in economics, corresponding member of the Academy of Technological Sciences of Ukraine. Honored Economist of Ukraine.

Place of Birth. Education. Born on March 11, 1945, in Kyiv. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Kyiv Institute of National Economy and the postgraduate program at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in Moscow.
Career. 1971-1992 - Senior Researcher at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Research activities on issues of economic efficiency, privatization, and de-monopolization.
1992-1994 - Chief Expert of the Center for Market Reforms, consultant for 'Putnam, Hayes and Bartlett', the 'Kiev-Reform' Fund. Market Opportunities. Actively involved in the implementation of market reforms in the Ukrainian economy.
In 1995, he was one of the initiators of the founding of the public expert organization 'Center for Economic Development'. He is the permanent president of the Center and the chairman of the editorial board of the information and analytical bulletin 'Monitoring the Economy of Ukraine'.
He has served at various times as an advisor to the President of Ukraine, the Prime Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Economics, and the Chairman of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
On March 17, 2015, President Petro Poroshenko appointed Alexander Paschaver as his advisor (retired).
On May 17, 2019, Petro Poroshenko dismissed Alexander Paschaver from the position of his extraordinary advisor.
