Biography of Aleksandr Pedan

Date of birth: 24.03.1982

Place of birth. Education. He was born in Khmelnytskyi. In 1999, he received a degree in economics from Khmelnytskyi National University. He says: 'Thank God, I do not work in my profession'.

Career. For 11 years, he dedicated himself to Ukrainian folk dance. As Aleksandr Pedan claims, he had nowhere to go because his father was the choreographer of the folk dance ensemble.

From 1997 to 2006, Aleksandr Pedan devoted his time to KVN. At the age of 16, he joined the KVN team of Khmelnytskyi National University. He participated in the tournaments of the KVN Association of Ukraine within the teams 'Stylish Wind' and 'TM-TV'. He played in the television team of the Highest League of KVN Ukraine 'Three fat guys', most of whom were experienced KVN players. Starting as a dancer, Pedan quickly became one of the leaders, actively participating in the creative process - writing scripts, preparing numbers.

He took part in many international KVN festivals in Sochi and Jurmala.

In 2006, he became the host of the popular television show 'Comedy Club Ukraine', as well as a participant in weekly club evenings and quiz shows. His bright individual image as a master of ceremonies earned him the artistic pseudonym - Sasha 'Angel' Pedan.

From 2008 to May 2011, he was one of the hosts of the morning program 'Podiem' on the Novy channel. This trio of hosts is considered one of the most successful in the history of the morning show on the Novy channel.

In 2008, he hosted the program 'Ukraine Does Not Believe in Tears' with Masha Efrosinina and Serhiy Prytula, Dmytro Kolaydenko, Andriy Domanskyi, Anastasiya Kasyliova, and host Serhiy Kuzin.

From 2010 to 2011, he was a judge on the program 'Sing if You Can' with hosts Serhiy Prytula and Masha Efrosinina.

In 2011, he became the host of the extreme program 'I am a Hero!' with Serhiy Prytula and world champion in rhythmic gymnastics Lilia Podkopayeva. Also in 2011, Aleksandr Pedan became the host of the program 'Intuition' - his first solo project on the Novy channel.

From March to June 2012, he hosted the program 'Pack Your Suitcases', where he tested many characters: Lady Gaga, the Mad Hatter from 'Alice in Wonderland', a scary pirate, a colorful gypsy, a ballet dancer, a traffic cop, a barrel father, Harry Potter, Superman, and others. Over 12 programs of the season, he changed into 16 characters.

In March 2012, Aleksandr Pedan became a judge on the program 'Who is on Top?'. Project hosts Olga Freimut and Serhiy Prytula jokingly call Pedan 'the voice from above', 'the highest judge', because Pedan does not appear on screen, and viewers only hear his voice.

In the summer of 2012, along with Olga Freimut and Serhiy Prytula, he hosted the program 'CabrioLato'.

On March 10, 2013, the information and entertainment evening program 'Pedan 0 Prytula Show' began on the Novy channel. Pedan became the host and creative producer of the program along with Serhiy Prytula.

Since 2014, he has been hosting the program 'Heart of Three'.

2014-2015 - hosted two editions of the program 'Cheap and Angry'.In the program, Aleksandr's task was to humorously search for savings opportunities in all areas.

In 2016, along with Dmitriy Tankovich, he hosted the National qualifiers for Eurovision 2016, where Jamala won.

In the fall of 2016, together with hypnotist Volodymyr Yefimov, he hosted the program 'Stars Under Hypnosis'.

Hobbies. Actively plays sports - soccer (plays for FC 'Maestro'), basketball, diving. He discovered golf, squash, and snowboarding.

He loves women, sincere people, and his work.

Family. Wife - Inna Pedan, an English teacher at one of the gymnasiums in Kyiv. Daughter - Valeria (born 2005). Son - Mark (born 2016).
