Place of Birth. Education. She was born in Kiev in a family of cameraman Igor Pysanka. After graduating from school, she went to Moscow to study acting, simultaneously applying to several universities. She graduated in 1994 from the Kiyv State Institute of Theatrical Arts Karpin-Karoy as a "television director."

The management of the television agency "Vikna," where Ruslana had been working as the director of the informational program "Visti" and the magazine "Liudy" since 1996, suggested that Ruslana play a new role based on her acting experience - the weather presenter. No one could have imagined that the "Weather Drama" would last five years and become a bestseller on the channel 'Inter.'
In May 2000, the video 'Blue Scarf' was donated to veterans as a gift. Ruslana acted as both performer and director in it.
