Place of Birth. Education. Born in Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region. In 2002, he graduated with honors from the Academy of Advocacy of Ukraine at Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv.
Career. Since 2002, he has been practicing after receiving his attorney certificate in private practice.
2006-2007 - Member of the Ukrainian V. Parliament of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc (No. 75 on the electoral list). Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Legal Basis of the Organization and Activity of Judicial and Notary Bodies, Executive Services of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs.
2007-2012 - Member of the Ukrainian VI. Parliament of the BYuT party (No. 74 on the list). Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Legal Basis of the Organization and Activity of Executive Services and the Response Mechanism to Legislative Violations of the Parliamentary Justice Committee on Legal Policy. Deputy Chairman of the Special Control Committee of the Parliament on Privatization.
He was a member of the Yulia Tymoshenko Party - the All-Ukrainian Union Batkivshchyna. In September 2010, he was expelled together with some colleagues from the opposition faction BYuT for supporting the pro-government parliamentary majority led by the Party of Regions.
Since December 2012, he has been a member of the Ukrainian VII. Parliament of the Party of Regions after nomination in single-mandate district No. 168 in the Kharkiv region. Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs. Non-partisan.
On January 16, 2014, he voted for the 'dictatorial laws' - a package of undemocratic laws that significantly restricted citizens' rights and freedom of speech.
From October 26, 2014, to August 2019, he was a member of the Ukrainian VIII. Parliament of the Verkhovna Rada. He was elected in single-mandate district No. 168 in Kharkiv. Member of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs and Justice.
In the early parliamentary election of 2019, he ran in single-mandate district 168 (Kharkiv region). According to the voting results, he lost in the district with 23.74% to the candidate of the Sluha Narodu party Maria Mezentseva (41.51%).
