Biography

Date of birth: 14.08.1938

Career. Since 1961 he was the master and from 1962 the chief technologist of the precast concrete plant No. 2 of the construction company Strojdetal.

From 1972 he was the director of the precast concrete plant ZHBI-5.

From 1976 to 1982 he held the position of head of the construction company Strojdetal Golovkiewgorstroy.

From 1982 to 1988 he headed the management of Kiewremstroy at the Kyiv City Committee.

From 1988 to 1992 he was the first deputy head of Golovkiewgorstroy.

Since 1992 he has been the president of the holding company Kiewgorstroy.

From 1995 to 2006 he held the position of chairman of the board, president of HK Kiewgorstroy.

From 2006 to 2007 he was a deputy of the Ukrainian parliament of the V term from the Nasha Ukraina Bloc (No. 32 on the list). Deputy chairman of the parliamentary committee on construction, architecture, and housing.

From 2007 to 2012 he was a deputy of the Ukrainian parliament of the VI term from the Nasha Ukraina Bloc - Narodna Samooborona (No. 32 on the list). First deputy chairman of the committee for construction, architecture, housing, and regional policy.

Awards. Hero of Ukraine. Honored Builder of Ukraine. Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in Architecture. Academician of the Academy of Construction of Ukraine.

Social engagement. From 2002 to 2006, a member of the Kyiv City Council. Since 2008, a member of the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine.

Family. Was married. Has two children - a son and a daughter. His son Yurij Poljatschenko was the former Minister of Health of Ukraine.
