Igor Nikolaevich Prasolov - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine (2012-2014).

Date of Birth: 02.04.1962.

Birthplace and Education. Born in the city of Peschany, Murmansk Oblast (Russia). In 1987, he graduated from Suslov Rostov State University with a major in political economy (Qualification - Economist, Political Economy Teacher).

Career. 1979-1982 - Electric saw assistant, electric saw specialist at Novocherkassk MRTP, served in the Soviet Army.

1987-1993 - Assistant at the Department of Political Economy of Donetsk State University, postgraduate student.

1993-2000 - General Director of LLC 'Investment Company Keramet Invest'.

2000-2005 - General Director of System Capital Management (SKM) owned by Rinat Akhmetov.

From 2016 to 2018, he headed the 'Azovmash' group.

Political Career. 2006-2007 - Member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the V Congress of the Civil Party (No. 43 on the electoral list). Member of the Parliamentary Budget Committee.

From November 2007 - Member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the VI Congress of the Civil Party (No. 43 on the list). Chairman of the Subcommittee on Securities and Stock Market of the Financial and Banking Committee of the Parliament. Member of the Party of Regions.

On December 24, 2012, he was appointed Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine by President Viktor Yanukovych.

On February 27, 2014, the Parliament dismissed Prasolov from the ministerial position and appointed Pavel Sheremet in his stead (in the government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk).

Awards. Awarded the Order of 'For Merit' III class.

Family. Wife Natalia Prasolova (born 1961, from Tores, Donetsk Oblast, CEO of LLC 'First Source'). Daughter Kristina (born 1989), son Dmitry (born 1999).
