Igor Pukshin

Place of Birth. Education. Born in the village of Nizhnaya Yablonka in the Turkiw region of Lviv Oblast. In 1991, he graduated from Lviv State University with a degree in law.
Career. After graduation, he worked for several months as an intern at a district court in Lviv.
From November 1991 to March 1992 - PhD student at Lviv State University.
From February to December 1992 - intern at the District Railway Court in Lviv.
From December 1992 to October 1993 - expert consultant at the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
From October 1993 to May 1994 - legal expert at the Ukrainian Fund for Reform Support, led by Finance Minister Viktor Pinzenik.
From May 1994 to October 1996 - head of the division, head of the department, director of the department of the State Property Fund of Ukraine. At that time, Yuri Yekhanurov was the head of the Fund.
From October 1996 to May 1998 - Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine.
From May 1998 to September 1999 - chairman of the Center for the Development of the Ukrainian Legislation.
From September 1999 to August 2004 - Managing Partner of the law firm 'Pravis'.
From September 2004 to October 2006 - Managing Partner of the law association 'Law Firm Pukshin and Partners'.
From October 2006 to November 2007 - Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko.
From November 2007 to May 2009 - Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine - Authorized Representative of the President of Ukraine for overseeing the activities of the Ukrainian Security Service.
After his dismissal from public service, he resumed his legal practice and became Managing Partner of the law association 'Law Firm Pukshin and Partners'.
In the 2012 elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Igor Pukshin was a candidate for People's Deputy of Ukraine in constituency No. 125.
Since August 7, 2019, he has been a member of the Commission for Legal Reforms.
Family. Married, raising five children.
