Rokitsky Vladimir

Date of Birth: 28.05.1956

Place of Birth, Education. Born in Kishinev (Moldova). Graduate of the Kyiv State University and the Faculty of Law of the National Academy of Security Service of Ukraine.

Career. 1974-1976 - Military service in the Armed Forces.

1985-1991 - Military service in positions of operational representative and senior operational representative of the KGB department in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast.

1991-2000 - Military service in officer and leadership positions in operational units of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast.

2000-2002 - Head of the Main Department of the SBU in Kyiv.

2002-2005 - Department Head, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime of the SBU.

2005-2006 - Head of the SBU in the Transcarpathian Oblast.

2008-2009 - Director of the Department of the Soyuz-Viktan group.

2009-2010 - Head of the SBU in the Transcarpathian Oblast.

Since March 2010 - First Deputy Chairman of the SBU (by Valery Khoroshkovsky) - Head of the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime of the Central Office of the SBU.

From January 19 to February 3, 2012 - Acting Chairman of the SBU. Then again First Deputy Chairman (by Igor Kalinin).

On June 5, 2012, by the order of President Viktor Yanukovych, dismissed. He was replaced by Alexander Yakimenko, who previously headed the SBU in Donetsk Oblast.

Awards. Awarded the medal 'For Impeccable Service' of III class (1997), the Orders of Bogdan Khmelnytsky III and II class (2005, 2011).

Family. Married. Has a daughter.
