Dmitriy Alexeyevich Shentsev - Member of the Ukrainian Parliament in the V, VI, VII, VIII and IX convocations.

Place of Birth. Education. He was born in Kharkiv. In 1988, he graduated from the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute named after Lenin with a degree in Hydropneumatics and Hydraulics (Qualification - Mechanical Engineer).

Career. 1990-1992 - Deputy Director of the Kharkiv branch of the joint venture Fortuna-Service.

1992-1994 - Director of LLC Kadis.

1999-2001 - Commercial Director of LLC NOVO.

2001-2002 - Director of LLC Fortuna Ltd.

2002-2003 - First Deputy Director of LLC Agrarian Corporate Corporation.

2003-2006 - Vice President of LLC Technoprom enterprises.

2006-2007 - People's Deputy of Ukraine of the V convocation for the Party of Regions (No. 129 on the electoral list). Member of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada for Environmental Policy, Natural Resources Use, and Consequences of the Chernobyl Disaster.

2007-2012 - People's Deputy of Ukraine of the VI convocation for the Party of Regions (No. 141 on the list). Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada for legislative support of law enforcement activities.

In April 2010, he was elected Deputy Party Leader of the Party of Regions for organizing work in the regions (at that time, Nikolai Azarov was appointed Party Chairman, and the President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, was appointed Honorary Chairman of the Party of Regions).

From December 2012 - Member of the Ukrainian Parliament of the VII convocation as a candidate of the Party of Regions in single-mandate constituency No. 176 in Kharkiv Oblast. Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada for legislative support of law enforcement activities. Member of the Party of Regions.

On January 16, 2014, he voted for the 'dictatorial laws' - a package of undemocratic laws that significantly restricted citizens' rights and freedom of expression.

On October 26, 2014, Dmitriy Shentsev was re-elected as People's Deputy of Ukraine of the eighth congress in the territorial constituency No. 176 (Kharkiv Oblast). Member of the VRU Committee for the legislative regulation of law enforcement activities.May 15, 2015 he joined the faction of the Party Opposition Bloc .

He participated in the early parliamentary elections of 2019 as an independent in constituency No. 176 (Kharkiv Oblast). With the result of 44.47% of voters (29851 people).

On September 21, 2022, the Ukrainian Parliament supported a resolution on the early termination of the powers of People's Deputy Dmitriy Shentsev. Shentsev submitted a resignation letter as a deputy on September 19.

Family. Wife - Nonna Shentseva (born 1969). They raise three sons.
