Boris Vitalyevich Silenkov

Date of Birth: 07.11.1960

Place of Birth. Education. Born in the city of Smela, Cherkasy Oblast. In 1984, he graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the Odessa Institute of National Economy (specialization 'Finance and Credit').

Career. After graduation, he worked as an economist and senior economist at the Financial Department of the Kherson Oblast and was the acting head of the department.

1990-1994 - Head of the Financial Department of the city of Nova Kakhovka and a member of the executive committee of the Nova Kakhovka City Council (Kherson Oblast).

1994-1996 - Deputy Head of Raiffeisen Bank Aval in the Kherson branch.

1996-1998 - Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration of Kherson.

From August 1998 - Chairman of the Board, General Director of SP 'TER Holding Kom., Ukraine' (Simferopol).

2002-2005 - Mayor of Nova Kakhovka.

On February 4, 2005, he was appointed Head of the Kherson Regional Administration by the decree of President Viktor Yushchenko.

He is a member of the Political Council of the Party of Regions (Chairman - Igor Kril). In February 2008, he left the ranks of the People's Union 'Our Ukraine' party.

Since 2006, he has been a deputy in the Kherson Regional Council.

On March 8, 2010, he was dismissed from his position as Head of the Kherson Regional Government by the decree of Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.
