Pjotr Schiljuk

Date of Birth: 03.07.1949

Place of Birth. Education. Born in the village of Buzivka in the Shashkiv district of Cherkasy region. Specializing in civil engineering. In 1973, he graduated from the Kyiv Construction College, and in 1994, from the Kyiv State University of Construction and Architecture.

Career. He started his professional career in 1973 as a form maker at Concrete Plant No. 5 of the Kyivstroydetal construction plant. Until 1983, he worked as a foreman at this plant, as a leading engineer, deputy workshop manager, and workshop manager. For the next seven years, he held the positions of deputy workshop manager at the concrete plant of the Panel Construction Company No. 4, workshop manager, and deputy director for production issues.

From 1990 to 1997, he was the director of the concrete plant of OJSC 'Panel Construction Company No. 4'.

From 1997 to 2006, he was the chairman of the board - general director of OJSC 'Construction Community No. 4' (an associated member of Kievgorstroy).

From June 2006 to December 2009, he was the chairman of the board - president of the Kievgorstroy holding company.

Later, he held the position of chairman of the board of PJSC DSK-4 and has been leading the DSK-ZHITLOBUD Corporation since 2014.

In 2013, Pjotr Schiljuk was elected president of the Construction Chamber of Ukraine and has been a member of the board of the Ministry of Regional Development since 2016.

Political Career. 2002—2006 - Kyiv city councilor.

Titles, Awards, and Decorations. Pjotr Schiljuk bears the honorary title of 'Honored Builder of Ukraine' (1998). Awarded with medals 'For Merits' III (2000), II (2003), and I (2005) class, and the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, V class (2007). Hero of Ukraine (2009).

Doctor of Technical Sciences (2006), full member (academician) of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Family. Married. He raised one son and one daughter.
