Zinoviy Vasilievich Shutjak – Deputy of the Ukrainian Parliament of the V. and VI. convocations, member of the Our Ukraine - People's Defense faction (since November 2007).

Place of birth. Education. Born in the village of Hrabivka in the Kalush district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. In 1970, he graduated from the Lviv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in 'Chemical Technology Engineer'.

Career. 1970-1975 - Master, Shift Supervisor at the Kalush Chemical and Metallurgical Plant.

1975-1990 - Master, Shift Supervisor, Department Head, Deputy Head of the Technical Department, Director of the Ivano-Frankivsk Fine Organic Synthesis Plant.

1990-1991 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council.

1991-1992 - First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council.

1992-1994 - First Deputy Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Administration.

1994-1996 - Deputy Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council for Executive Works, Head of the Main Department (Department) of Economics and Industry of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Administration.

1996-1998 - Vice President, President of the Regional Economic Development Agency.

1998-2006 - Mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk.

2006-2007 - Deputy of the Ukrainian Parliament of the V. Convocation from the Our Ukraine faction.

2007-2012 - Deputy of the Ukrainian Parliament of the VI. Convocation from the Our Ukraine - People's Defense faction. He chaired the Subcommittee on Housing in the Parliamentary Committee for Construction, Urban Development, Housing, and Regional Policy. He was a member of the faction of Vyacheslav Kyrylenko For Ukraine!

In the autumn of 2012, he ran for the Ukrainian Parliament of the VII. Convocation on the Our Ukraine party list (No. 9), but the party did not pass the five percent threshold.

Member of the Presidium of the Our Ukraine party (NU), head of the regional organization of NU in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Since 2000, a member of the National Council for the Coordination of Activities of State and Regional Authorities and Local Self-Governments.

Author of two inventions. Co-author of the works 'Using the Experience of European Countries for Creating a Structure to Promote Regional Economy' (1997), 'How to Attract Foreign Investments' (1997), 'Managing the Development of Rural Areas under Market Conditions' (1997).

Awards. Awarded with a Certificate of Honor from the Government of Ukraine (2003).

Family. Wife - Nadiya Petrovna (born 1951) - employee of the Regional Department of the State Inspectorate for Labor Protection. He has two children - daughter Zoryana (born 1974) and son Petro (born 1980).
