Tatjana Vladimirovna Slipachuk - former chairwoman of the Central Election Commission. Doctor of Law.
Place of Birth. Education. Born on May 25, 1968 in Kiev. In 1990, she graduated from the Faculty of Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine.
From 1990 to 1993, she was a postgraduate student at the Department of Economic Law of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
Career. From 1994 to 2004, she was the Secretary General of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine.
From April 2004 to September 2011, she was a lawyer, advisor, senior advisor, and partner at the law firm 'Vasil, Kisil and Partners'.
From 2010 to 2012, she was Vice President of the Arbitration Committee of the International Bar Association.
Since September 2011, she has been a partner at the law firm 'Sajenko Charenko'. She headed the practices in international trade and international arbitration.
Since 2012, she has been leading the Ukrainian Arbitration Association.
Tatiana Slipachuk represented the interests of clients in over 125 international arbitration proceedings, including arbitrations under the ICC, LCIA, SCC, MKAS, and MAK at the HTPU, MKAS at the HTPU of the Russian Federation, UNCITRAL, LMAA, GAFTA, etc.
From 2014 to October 2017, she was an advisor to the General Legal Department of the Main Directorate of the Verkhovna Rada.
In February 2016, Tatiana Slipachuk was appointed by President Petro Poroshenko as one of the three representatives for the selection of the director of the State Bureau of Investigations.
On October 5, 2018, Tatjana Slipachuk was formally appointed by the Central Election Commission on the quota of the parliamentary group 'People's Will'. On that day, the CEC Tatjana Slipachuk was elected as its chairperson from among the members of the commission in a secret ballot.On September 13, 2019, the Verkhovna Rada considered the using of President Volodymyr Zelensky for the dismissal of the entire staff of the Central Election Commission. 341 deputies voted for the dissolution of the Central Election Commission.Publications: Author of over 125 articles and sections of monographic studies in economic, civil, and international private law, international commercial arbitration, including over 30 in English.
Vice President of the Arbitration Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA). Member of the Ukrainian Association of International Law since 2001. National expert of the International Distribution Institute (IDI) in Ukraine. Representative of Ukraine in the lists of mediators and arbitrators of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes. Chairwoman of the Board of the Ukrainian Centre for the Promotion of Investments and Trade.
Awards. On October 8, 2016, Tatiana Slipachuk was awarded the title of 'Honored Lawyer of Ukraine'.
Declaration. In the declaration for the year 2017, Slipachuk reported an income of over 4,315 thousand Hryvnias earned from her practice at 'Sajenko Charenko'. Tatiana Slipachuk drives a BMW 640D (2016 model), which she purchased in 2016 for 1.6 million Hryvnias, and since May 2017 has the right to use a Mercedes-Benz G 500 (2012 model) from Irina Slipachuk. Savings in bank accounts and cash amount to over 0.5 million US dollars. Tatiana Slipachuk's real estate includes a 1000 sq. m plot of land, a 285.10 sq. m house in Kiev, and a 79.20 sq. m apartment (share - 75%).
