Denys Anatoliyovych Schmyhal - Prime Minister of Ukraine, former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - former Minister for Community Development and Territories of Ukraine, former Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration. Doctor of Economics.

Place of Birth. Education. Born on October 15, 1975, in Lviv.

In 1997, he graduated from Lviv Polytechnic National University with a degree in Production Management (Machine Engineering), Economic Engineer. In 2003, he defended his dissertation on 'Regional Economy and Location of Productive Forces'.

Family. Denys Schmyhal is married; his wife, Katerina, previously ran a small business in Lviv. She was a co-owner of the bakery 'Kamyanetska Pekarnya' in Lviv and the local bike rental 'NextBike', the share of which she shared with businessman Zinovy Kozytsky and Ostap Budenkevych. In February 2019, the bakery was closed, as evidenced by data from the state register of legal entities, and her share in NextBike was transferred to Kozytsky.

The couple raises two daughters - Anna and Sophia.

Declaration. In 2018, Denys Schmyhal earned 3.5 million UAH at DTEK, according to his declaration. Another 200,000 UAH was declared as his wife's salary. The couple keeps cash of 115,000 USD and 12,324 UAH.

The Schmyhal family owns a house in Lviv with an area of 215.9 square meters worth 1.06 million UAH. Another property of his is land.
