Julia Sergeyevna Sokolovskaya - Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, former Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine.
Place of Birth. Education.
Born on April 12, 1985. Educated at the Kyiv National Economic University (KNEU) and the University of Vienna. In 2016, she obtained a second higher education degree from the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, specializing in 'Public Administration'. Additionally, Sokolovskaya studied at IMF's Institute for Capacity Development.
Career.
2014-2015 - Director of one of the departments of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.
2015-2016 - Director of the Social Expenditures Department of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
2016-2017 - Head of the Department for Strategic Planning and Coordination of State Policy in the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Sokolovskaya led the Strategy, Transparency, and Development area of the USAID/Deloitte eHealth Project 'Support for Health Reform'.
In the summer of 2019, she lectured at a seminar for the Servant of the People deputies in Truskavets.
Political Career.
On August 29, 2019, the Parliament confirmed the new government composition, Julia Sokolovskaya was appointed Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine.
On March 4, 2020, the Parliament approved the resignation of Oleksiy Honcharuk as Prime Minister, leading to the resignation of the entire government.
On March 12, 2020, President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed Julia Sokolovskaya as Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Andriy Yermak.
