Stadnichuk received his parliamentary mandate after the pro-controlling parliamentary majority mandate of Fatherland deputy Sergey Vlasenko was revoked. According to the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Volodymyr Rybak, the representative of the Party of Regions, Vlasenko, had no right to remain a deputy as he combined his parliamentary work with defending the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko (as a lawyer). According to Vlasenko, Stadnichuk announced his resignation from his previous job on February 28 - precisely on the day the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine issued a lawsuit on compatibility against Tymoshenko's defender. This means he resigned before the court revoked Vlasenko's mandate.
